Industry process flow
Pretreatment → on the workpiece → pre-drying (pre-drying 240℃-260℃ for 15 minutes) → dipping (vibration, removing residual powder) → curing (180℃-200℃ for 15 minutes) → air cooling → off the workpiece.
Process description
Dipping is a heating process involving metal preheating, dipping material, and curing. When dipping the material, the heated metal sticks to the surrounding material. The hotter the metal is, the longer the dipping time is, and the thicker the material is. Naturally, temperature and the shape of the dipping material are key in determining how much of the plastisol sticks. By dip molding, amazing shapes can be created.
Types of insulated powders
By usage: 1. Civil Powders: mainly used for coating clothes hangings, bicycles, car baskets, kitchen utensils, etc. It has good luster and leveling. 2. Engineering Powders: used for highway and railroad guardrails, municipal engineering, instrumentation, supermarket net shelf, refrigerator shelf, cable, miscellaneous products, etc. coating, durability, and corrosion resistance.
By raw materials: PE general-purpose dipping powder, PE engineering-type dipping powder, PE pipeline-type dipping powder, PE refrigerator special dipping powder, etc.
The process of coating insulated powders on the metal surface through heating to achieve anti-corrosion is called powders dip coating.
